Why wool?
Natural performance that goes beyond traditional insulation.
Sheep's wool breathes and helps regulate moisture in the construction. As a result, the insulation layer remains stable and the risk of condensation and mold is reduced, provided the entire building structure is correctly designed and executed.
Unlike mineral fibers, wool is pleasant and safe to handle. With correct handling, protective gloves or dust masks are generally not required for fiber irritation, although general safety rules apply on every construction site.
Wool naturally dampens sound and contributes to a quieter indoor climate. The material is also naturally flame-retardant; the fire safety of the total construction must always be assessed according to the applicable regulations.
